Kimberlee Bouska

Fundraising Chair

Eight years ago Kimberlee and her family evaluated Portland neighborhoods looking for the best place for their young children to go to school and thrive.   Forest Park and the community of Forest Heights was the easy choice when they decided on their new location. Kimberlee is dedicated to keeping the school a top choice for parents and improving the features that attracted them to Forest Park Elementary.  This is her second year on the board as chair of non-auction fundraising.  As a financial planner Kimberlee also participates in several boards and councils to encourage women in the profession.

Mike Liefeld

Community

Mike moved to Forest Heights in 2018 and his blended family has four kids at FPE (Eva-5th, Elia-3rd, Chloe-3rd, Nate-1st). His wife Mieke was Mike’s bridge to forming connections at FPE and within the community and he is eager to help others create a lasting connection to FPE and support the enriching power of community for our children. He’s excited to have the “behind the scenes” experience to support all the diverse opportunities at FPE. Mike is the self-proclaimed board “newbie” and invites you to ask him any question you have about FPE-if he doesn’t know the answer he’s excited to learn together!

Christie Robinson

Treasurer

Christie has two children at Forest Park: Avery, in 3rd grade, and Evan, in kindergarten. Although a native Oregonian, Christie has lived across the country before returning to Portland two years ago to be closer to family. She feels so lucky to have found such a community in FPE and was inspired to get more involved at the school. Christie’s professional background is in healthcare, but she's excited to learn accounting skills in this unique opportunity, as well as contribute as a board member. Most importantly, she wants to “pay it forward” and welcome more families to Forest Park Elementary with open arms.
